What we collect

When you report a rate or submit a market request or offer, we collect the phone number you provide, the content of your submission (including any photo or voice note), and your IP address at the time of submission. We use the phone number to prevent spam and to contact you about your own submission if needed. We do not sell or share it with third parties. If you use the contact form or email us directly, we collect the name (if given), email address, and message you provide, along with your IP address at submission time, so we can reply and keep the moderation system effective against spam.

Shop directory phone numbers

Shop phone numbers in the directory are already public information, compiled from public map data. We keep them hidden behind a "view number" step rather than printed directly on the page, and viewing one requires an email address. We collect that email address, the shop you looked up, and your IP address at the time. This exists to keep numbers out of reach of automated scraping and spam-dialing, and to understand which listings visitors are actually interested in. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to send marketing you didn't ask for. By using the "view number" feature, you agree to this collection.

Shop page visits

When you view a shop's page, we log that visit (the shop, your IP address, and browser user agent) so we can tell which listings are getting attention. This isn't shown anywhere on the public site. We do not sell this data. It may in future be used to give a shop's owner visibility into interest in their own listing.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it (pages viewed, general location, device type), and cookies to serve relevant advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and out of Google Analytics tracking via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.

Public submissions

Content you submit for public display, a market board post or a rate report once approved, is meant to be shown publicly, minus your phone number, which is never displayed on the public site.

Removal requests

If you want a shop listing, a post, or any personal information removed, contact us via the contact page. Shop listing removal requests are honoured within 24 hours.

Data retention

Market board posts expire and are archived automatically after 7 days. Rate submissions and phone reputation records are retained to keep the moderation system effective against repeat spam.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, but no method of storing or transmitting data over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your acceptance, and governing law

By submitting a form, reporting a rate, posting on the board, or using the shop directory's "view number" feature, you agree to the data collection described on this page. This site operates in Pakistan and, where applicable, is intended to be operated consistent with Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and related data-handling norms.
